Software for Kofax Adrenaline

We have a Ricoh IS420 connected to an 1000 MHz
Athlon via a new Kofax 850 SCSI. Does anyone
know of a software product that will allow us to
crop, center, etc. and print the document image
that does NOT cost thousands? Kofax has a great
list of vendors, but they are all way more than
we need right now. We basically want
a "photocopier" product similar to what comes
bundled with many SOHO scanners, that works with
the Kofax drivers. Any help much appreciated.

documents. Our software supports ISIS and Twain. The price starts at
$1295.00 for 5 users client server. This might be the solution you are
looking for. if you have further questions you can contact me
directly. Honestly we have not tested with the Kofax 850, however, if
you can write the images to a drive somewhere our software will go and
get them.

Yes,
but the free 'Test Application' VCDEM32P does what you want.
The 850 does all the cropping and image cleanup etc...
Alternatively use the Adrenaline Twain drivers with almost any
imaging software like the stuff that comes with the SOHO scanners
you mention. If it is a recent Adrenaline CD the Twain will be on the
CD, otherwise get it from the Kofax Web Site.
If you really want to pay some money though you can buy our
personal edition of TokOpen document manager for £400 which
supports Kofax scanners and all their capabilities.

Why not look into the software that's manufactured by the same folks
that make the Kofax 850 SCSI board? Kofax Ascent Capture does
everything you're asking about, and with the right back-end, your images
will be completely searchable. Check out Kofax at
www.digitalstorageinc.com.
