T-Mobile reported a data breach in 2021 that affected 47.8 million
existing and former customers. Meanwhile, hackers have stolen the
personal information of 7.8 million postpaid customers. According to
recent reports, the carrier agreed to a settlement to resolve
litigation.
According to CNET, current and former T-Mobile customers may be
entitled to a portion of a $350 million payout intended to settle
litigation related to the 2021 cyberattack that exposed the private
data of millions of users. If you are one of the millions of T-Mobile
customers whose accounts were compromised, you could be compensated
soon if the settlement is approved.
