Converting CDR to ascii

Hi all,

I'm searching for standard tools to convert CDR's (Call Detail Records) to
Ascii format. I would prefer tools for UNIX environmen (Perl, Shell tools.

Any hint is welcome. Thanks in advance.

You must be confused. CDR is a fairly generic industry acronym that
could refer to any vendor's platform-specific call detail records, the
format of which varies, and may differ based on the options you have
selected in your switch.

Are you on a Nortel DMS? Which one? Which CDR template? Questions...

The native output format for CDR from most PBX manufacturer's for the last
25 years is ASCII.
