I have some questions about how SMS worked and am not sure whether I
understand the procedure correctly. As I know, with a SMS send out,
the SMSC would receive a SMS-MO CDR and route a SMS-MT CDR to the
callee phone. Since there are some mobile phone (eg. Nokia) could ask
for SMS status report. Once the callee successfully receive the SMS,
the SMSC would generate a SMS-MT CDR to send back to the caller (for
reporting status).
So what's the difference between these two SMS-MT CDR (besides the
caller and callee number exchange)? How could we differentiate it in a
mediation system?
Thanks a lot!
Regards.
