I'm looking at building a small desk and have been pitched by both
vendors. Does anybody have feedback for or against either manufacturer?
Thanks
Their new IP system is pretty slick.
We've had one of their MACH-II Etradeal systems (250 seats) for almost 5
years. Sure wish their new IP system had been available when we selected
their MACH-II turrets.
IPC pitched to us, if you want to call it that. We had an existing IPC
floor, about 80 seats and were getting ready to move to new digs and a new
system and major expansion. The deal literally was IPC's to lose and by
God lose it they did. IPC took for granted that they had a lock on the
deal and made no effort to sell the deal. By contrast, their competitors
were hungry and stole the (almost $2 megabuck) deal right out from under
them.

Then I figure I'll just email France Telecom so I click the link back
to the mother ship Home Page and it says "page not found"
Well, minor details I guess. Under the listed phone number is an email
address "dan.callahan ~at~ etrali.com so I figure click that and send a
message - he's the Chicago rep it says.
I click the address and it turns out to be an image with a "mailto"
hyperlink to an address <i...@sodetel.net.lb> that's an ISP in
Lebanon...not an Etrali adress, but a typical ISP as far as I can tell
Sign me up - Go Etrali!.
Sounds like their web site has been hacked. Try www.etrali.fr
Dan Callahan is "the guy" - he's top dog and president of N. American
operations, but he's in NYC, not Chgo. Their Hdqs is in Paris. They have
an office in Houston, 713-462-6499 but that's a service shop only, not
sales. For sales info you need the NYC number, 212-593-3838.
If you're genuinely interested they'll bring out a small demo system with
a couple of turrets or arrange to meet you at one of their clients nearest
to you for a show 'n tell. I really wish their IP system had been ready
when we bought their EtraDeal Mach-II system back in '2001. You may recall
we had some rough start-up issues back then, but I have to admit it got
better. Their new IP turrets are light-years advanced compared to what we
got. If times were better for us we'd probably consider doing a forklift
upgrade.
