Hello,
I am using an old Valcom V-119RT intercom control unit to create a
makeshift intercom in the theater where I work. I have 15 phones, all
wired to the same talkpath (this unit only provides one), to create a
"party-line" system.

For signaling, a user can dial a single digit to activate a relay
that will light up some signal lights that I have placed around the
catwalks. These are RadioShack "Fone Flasher" lights that get their
power from a ringing source; in this case a Tellabs 8101 Ringing
Generator.

I am now in need of some more of the flasher lights, but I don't
want to buy any more from Radio Shack because their lights aren't
quite bright enough and are little hard to see. I have seen in other
theaters that have similar systems (one in particular that I can think
of used a Melco system, much like the one I am using) with signal
lights that looked like little amber domes with a light bulb inside.
When the ringing power was applied to these, they flashed a little
brighter and could be seen better from more angles.

Can anyone tell me where to get lights like these? I have looked
all over the net, but I don't know what to search for.

Thank you!

If you know who made them you ought to be able to find them :-)

try www.suttleonline.com and look for indicator lights. The SE-15 or
SE-21 ought to be what you need. Take the 21's since they have the
lamp in them.
