Also, would this switch be considered scrap worthy or upgradeable. Its
currently serves roughly 300 phones via 15 DID and 16 COT trunks. There is
no voicemail but that is desired either through upgrade or replacement.
Thanks,
Rick
It's more than likely X11, Release 18, unless an upgrade has been
applied since it was installed. There is one of the SL-1 maintenance
commands (LD ?) that will output the switch version to the Terminal
hooked to the switch. Sorry I can't remember which one it is, but
check the Manual. I just checked the SL-1 at the local Community
College, for Y2K compliance. It was built in '88, but it passed OK.
Good luck.

You are at release X-11 Release 5, Issue 41 unless someone did something
to the tape. The books are probably replacements of lost or stolen
books.
711 = System model "S" or "MS" North American "Small"
You will need to replace everything if you want an upgrade. You have no
Y2K problems with the PBX. A replacement system from Nortel can be found
at:

Poke around in the Enterprise section. Try <comp.dcom.sys.nortel> next
