Meridian MAX problem (rls 7)

I think this would be the proper group to present this to... if not,
please let me know where.

We've been running MAX rls 7 for almost a year on a PC (accessing via
MTE) and printing to our local Windows printer (direct to LPT 1) without
any problems.

Recently, the PC froze and woudn't reconnect to MAX until the entire
system was rebooted! Now the problem is that we cannot print anything
anymore!

We can still print out of Windows apps (Notepad, etc), but MAX will not
print any reports. Unfortunately, this is the only printer for MAX
reports too...

The local tech came in and plugged his laptop (running MTE again) and
his own local inkjet printer into the exact port as our PC (right at the
desk). He was able to print MAX reports the way they should be printed
and the way we used to...???!!!

...and of course, it's OUR problem since he can do it and WE can't!

Re-install or re-configue MTE on your P.C., it may be broken.

Reinstall MTE...Other than that, I believe(off the top of my head)
there is a config on the MAX side to make sure local printers will
work..Wish I could tell you more, but we aren't using the PC side/MTE
yet., so I just print directly from the system
