Can we stop this sort of thing ? Maybe by finding the MX machine for
this domain, and creating a program which will automail LOTS of email to
their machine (usernames scanned by dictionary ?) an anti-spamming
program ???

Please don't follow up to this kind of thing. The spam gets
cancelled by the spamcancellers (public-service volunteers who
merit all the compliments they get, and more).

On the other hand, your post does not get cancelled, because it
is not spam. but it takes up place on the servers, just as spam
does, and since you copy the message, the spammers message gets
past the spamcancellers. Quoting them is just good for them.

If you want to fight spam, begin with reading
news.admin.net-abuse.* There is a lot being done, especially
e-mail spam has been having a hard time lately :-)

Seriously considering putting a blatant company plug in my .sig.
Just so I don't get tempted to put MS-related things in here.
