I have a customer, that has a MICS rel. v. 2.0, with a voicemail v. 3.0 He has
5, 8 ports station modules on a 6 port fiber module. Two of the stations are
piggied back to each other. There are two open fiber ports on the fiber
module.

I needed to know, what would be the correct procedure to add an additional 16
port station module and a trunk module to the system.

My biggest fear is losing the data base of the unit.

thanks.

Hi,
The rule is: Station Moduels work from the lowest to the highest, Trunk
Modules from the highest tho the lowest. You should not "lose" your
programming. However. if you are concerned, make i system back-up (I would).

Good Luck,
Ed
