Hello
I have two Catalyst 3524 switches with an Etherchannel trunk connecting
them together.
I have set up a port monitor monitoring all the ports on the same switch
that the sniffer is attached to.
Is it possible to monitor the ports on the other switch.
the 'port monitor VLAN1' command, only monitors the management interface.
There must be a way of doing this.
Has anyone any ideas.
Thanks in advance
Rolf

There is a command "rspan" for remote span, but I've never used it

Isn't rspan a catalyst 6000 /4000 option only. I never heard of the term
remote span on a 3500 series.
