Are there any security considerations in selecting rcp vs. tftp as the
method for writing/reading router configurations to/from a server?

Any other factors in selecting rcp or tftp if my routers and server support
both?

Thanks.

If you are one the same physical network, and this network is
kind-of-secure,
just go ahead with tftp. It's fast, it's easy. However, you should
disable the
service in your inetd.conf (or similar) after using it. Elsewise, use
rcp.
