Hi all,

I'm fairly new to setting up the PIX, and currently I'm trying to configure
it so that our users (using Windows based computers) can access our Windows
based network via VPN. At present, I've set the PIX up so that it will
authenticate users connecting to the outside interface, but clients are
unable to access the internal network. I've tried searching for answers on
Cisco's web site with no success, and I was hoping someone here would be
able to help.

Also, could someone give me the commands to open up ports 5631 and 5632 on
the PIX?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Kieron.

If you can't find the info on CCO then you probably need to get a consultant
to do this for you. This is something that is more than a question or two.
My VPN's generally have a couple dozen commands and I'm sure most of the
people here don't want to go to such great lengths to get your site up and
running while you are getting paid for it and they are not. Maybe if you
ask a more specific question we could give you a quick answer. I don't mean
to flame but there are a lot of people that can't find jobs while others are
getting paid by using the skills of the people on these lists.

Kieron,

Considering your experience with the PIX firewall I would suggest that
you hire a Cisco Security Consultant to help you out with the initial
implementation of your firewall. He/she should be able to setup the
PIX is a secure manner and answer all your questions regarding the
box. Security is very important and shouldn't be taken too lightly.

My sentiments exactly. I would be glad to offer my services and train you
at the same time. But, that isn't something I can do in a few moments on a
newsgroup.
