They'll take standard 72 pin tin-fingered full parity (x36!) SIMMS.
Don't know how Cisco will react regarding maintenance to you using
'non-approved' memory, but they'll work fine.

I experienced this problem recently. You will need memory with true
parity, that normally is not shiped with common PC's.

You'll have to contact a supplier. I've got mine with:

Here is the price list for the 2500 series (they sell for other
router families too):

NOTE: Beware to clearly specify that you want memories with TIN contact.
