Radius AAA

When configuring CISCO routers to use RADIUS for AAA I have the following
question.

aaa authentication login default radius enable
aaa authentication enable default radius enable
!

When logging into the router the users gets prompted for a username and
password pair. After being successfully logged in and entering the
enable mode only the password is requested. However the router is
generating a username and password pair to pass to the RADIUS server.

Where is the router getting the information to generate the username
being used for the enable authentication?
