Ratings on CCNP BCRAN Sybex by Todd Lammle

Has anyone read CCNP BCRAN Sybex book by Todd Lammle.

I used the other Sybex book for CIT and it did not cover the material
like it should have. If this book has good reviews I will use it
otherwise any recommendations would be appreciated. 2 more to go, BCRAN

I don't think it's the book. You shouldn't be doing CIT up front - you
should be doing it last. Any topic from other 3 exams is fair game. You
should have done it last. What are you thinking?

Don't buy Lammle anyway - buy Cisco Press. Always. Lammle caters for the
Cert Crew ONLY. I don't think he's CCNP let alone CCIE - yet he writes books
for them...

I'll have to agree with zzzxxx on this one. Lammle is crap. He is a CCNP,
but he has no idea what he's talking about. Some of the Lammle CCNP books
are full of errors. If you are going to use Lammle books, do it only as a
primer, and back it up with Cisco Press study guides and the CCIE
Professional Development books. Much harder to read, but much better
information.

I'll second that, just get the cisco press books. They are not as cheap but
you get what you pay for.

I am studying for 640-505 too and I regret that I bought the Todd Lammle
book. I am now using BCRAN. Once I complete the book I'll study the Cisco
Press Exam Guide

Thanks everyone for the opinions about Subex CCNP by Todd Lammle. I am going to
buy a different book today. For zzzxxx, I know the CIT exam has questions from
al 3 exams but the reason I took it first because I excel at troubleshooting
rather than installation. In fact I got an 88 on the CIT and only a 72 on the
Routing. This is because i dont yet have the resources to simulate OSPF & BGP
AS;s
