I have a problem concerning a Catalyst 2950-48:

Some searching on cisco.com brought up this link:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps607/products_tech_note09186a0080125913.shtml#topicsub1
According to that those ports are defective (I think it doesn't matter
if it is a Catalyst 2900xl or a 2950-48).
Am I right? Or is there a "software trick" to fix that?
I aready did an "erase all"...
Perhaps it helps if I describe how the error occured:
I added a second vlan (Ports 41-48) where I wanted to connect some
switches from other floors. So on this 2950-48 there should be clients
connected to vlan1 and other switches and the uplink connected to vlan2.
To create a connection between the clients in vlan1 and the uplink on
vlan2 I used a crossover cable between port 1 and port 41. Up to this
point everything went fine, the clients on vlan1 had a "normal" network
connection. (actually I had only connected the uplink, the crossover
cable and a client on port 2 since I was still testing).
Then I changed the management vlan on the web-interface from vlan 1 to
vlan 2. I did this from the client connected to port 2 (vlan 1). Because
of the change of the management vlan I lost connection on the web
interface, which is I think is a normal thing.
But since then the ports belonging to vlan 2 wouldn't get into "state
up" anymore.
Any ideas?
Tanks!!
greetings
robatp
PS:
Here are some system boot messages and a "sh ver" that might help:
