I am constantly receiving the following error code:
03:09:21: %PQUICC-5-LATECOLL: Unit 0, late collision error
03:09:27: %PQUICC-5-LATECOLL: Unit 0, late collision error
What does this mean and how do I stop it?
I have a cisco 804 router, IOS 12.1. I can post the config if needed, or a
part of it.

Thanks,

PES

This is typically due to cable length > 328 feet. I would also double check
for duplex mismatch and correct and reliable cabling, but theoretically, the
above typically is the cause.

OK, here is what I did to fix this, in case anyone else runs accross this
problem.
I have the router connected directly to one server, then the internet
connection is basically shared from this server. The router is connected to
a D-Link DFE-530TX nic card. I changed the setting on the card for the "Link
Speed/Duplex Mode" from "Auto" to "10 Full Mode" to "10 Half Mode". After
the change to the 10 half mode, everything seems fine, no more warnings.
Thanks,
Jeff
