There are two types of FLASH mem for the 25xx series out in the list,
MEM-1X8F and MEM-1X8F-DFB for the dual flash bank config. Same price,
so is there any difference in the layout of the FLASH, or is it the same ?
Can i setup the dual flash bank with the 'normal' MEM-1X8F as well and
format the flash in two parts, or is this only working with the MEM-1X8F-DFB
?
Is there a approved vendor list out for the Flash memory as well ?
Big thanks for the help...!

DFB memory only works with the 2517 and 2519 (the members of the family that
have only one flash SIMM slot). Anything else will fall over. The two-slot
routers need two SIMMs of the same size to do flash partitioning, and in
fact will auto-partition flash if they find two SIMMs present.
There is an approved vendor list - I think it's on the Cisco Web pages
somewhere. Sorry I can't be more specific.
