Holy Cow!!!!
I have a camcorder that is under warrentee that i have tried to have
serviced and every step of the way they have messed it up.
To top it off the people in their Executive office complaint department are
horrible. Group of argumentative people who could care less about their
consumers.
Give them a call sometime when you have a problem.
Better yet, smash your hand with a hammer, you will feel less pain and get
more satisfaction.

Hello I have the Same problem with Panasonic Canada,
they do not answer emails, there staff are rude, and they expect me to drive
my TV from Summerland to Vancouver to get fixed, (4 hour drive)
The best part of it is when they have had it in for servicing it comes back
no better than when it left, and they keep it for about a week and a half.
I guess I have learned my lesson with Panasonic and will never ever buy
there crap again.

Did you get the Panasonic Panic numbers on the other Panasonic newsgroups? I
never gave up and they finally took my camcorder back and sent me a check.
My new sony is great.

Call the exec offices number and never quit. They are the worst company I
have ever dealt with. They do not even send out canned letters to
acknowledge you even wrote the bastards.

Good luck, do not let them wear you down. The more you complain the more
money it costs them and then they realize it is cheaper to say yes to you.

If you ever have problems with Panasonic products here are the names of the
various higher ups. Good luck because Panasonic is a company that has not
learned to let its employees make decisions, they think escalation is a
spectator sport.
They will try to wear you out but don't give up.

President; Andy Takani, his office doesn't care about word of mouth (buy a
sony save yourself the headache of this horrible 1980's company) ,
201-348-7000, tak...@us.panasonic.com
Dir. oc the call center: Jesse Williams, 757-382-4484,
will...@us.panasonic.com
Exec office aide (real jerk, call him to say hello); Peter 201-392-4142
Exec office supervisors, suffers corp. impotence: Patrica Moore and Michael
Marino 201-392-6100
Darteo Davis, he tries to make up for a system that is broke and will in all
likelihood stay broke since they wear most of the complainers down;

Good luck folks, say hi to them

Hi none of those numbers help me too much being canadian, but thanks
anyways. I have managed to get the store I got it from in Vancouver to call
there store in Kelowna, and today a guy is coming to fix the TV. This is
better than Panasonics offer of me driving the TV 5 hours to Vancouver to
have to go back in 1-2 weeks to pick it up again. The store feels bad for
all the BS I have gone thru with Panasonic, and has told me that if it is
not a simple fix, or it just is not better when they are done fixing it the
will credit me the full amount of the TV so I can get a real product like
sony.

I have never had any problems like this with any other company, as a
matter of fact, if you have a problem with a Sony product and call, they
will help, with out giving you a hard time.

I know, I was shocked.
I even sent a snaiol mail letter to corp headquarters in New Jersey and
never got a reply. Every company at least sends a canned response that they
are sorry but screw you.
They didn't even do that. It is up to us to post letters and let the
internet do its work.

Good luck and by the way my new Sony camcorder is much better than the
pasonic.
