I hope someone have got similar problem and will help me.
Bye, Rich.
There are some standard MIBs for ATM accounting, but I don't think
that they use traps for that purpose. The relevant RFCs are:
2512 Accounting Information for ATM Networks. K. McCloghrie, J.
Heinanen, W. Greene, A. Prasad. February 1999. (Format: TXT=29119
bytes) (Status: PROPOSED STANDARD)
2513 Managed Objects for Controlling the Collection and Storage of
Accounting Information for Connection-Oriented Networks. K.
McCloghrie, J. Heinanen, W. Greene, A. Prasad. February 1999.
(Format: TXT=60789 bytes) (Status: PROPOSED STANDARD)
I do not know which vendors if any have implementd this stuff.
Just as a side question: why do you think that traps -- which are
unreliable and unacknowledged -- are a good way to get accounting
information?
