FORCE xbase compiler status

Does anyone know the current status of the "FORCE" xbase compiler system
for MS-DOS platforms? The last version I'm aware of was 2.1D1, and that
was when Sophco was still the owner. It has since changed hands and, as
far as I can tell, dropped off the face of the earth. It was, to the best
of my knowledge, the only xbase compiler which produced "real" executable
code (eg. no imbedded runtime engine).
