CodeBase 5.1 is the product to look at, It will support dBase format as well
as FoxPro and Clipper formats, fully Multiuser compatible comes complete with
full source code and has no run times or royalties. Unfortunately it is not
shareware, however it is very reasonably priced and I will be happy to supply
further information if you are interested

Man;
i've used SoftC with success to access dbf. It can handle indexed files and
provides Time/Date functions to post into DBF Fields. Same for Strings.
It is shareware and you cand find it on ftp://o...@oakland.edu.

The current release is not shareware. But you can still download,
use, and register the shareware version from oak.oakland.edu.

Get Sequiter's CodeBase for C. I haven't used it extensively, but have
done a number of file conversion programs with it, and haven't had any
problems at all. I think the price is around $250.

Try dbfLib by dSoft Development Inc.(713/ 537-0318), this was shareware at
one time (not sure about now). I have used this library many time to read
".dbf" files. Hope this helps.
