MANDATORY SKILLS:

1. A minimum of eight (8) years experience working with Sybase SQL server
of which four (4) years must have been with Adaptive Server Enterprise
(ASE) SQL server version 11.5 or higher.
2. A minimum of eight (8) years experience performing database query
optimization.
3. A minimum of eight (8) years experience in the performance and tuning of
Sybase SQL Server and databases.
4. A minimum of eight (8) years experience in troubleshooting Sybase
database problems such as data corruption, dump, load and recovery
problems.
5. A minimum of eight (8) years experience performing technical mentoring
and training related to Sybase databases.
6. A minimum of four (4) years experience performing quality assurance
reviews.
7. A minimum of four (4) years experience performing technical
documentation.

DESIRABLE Experience Listed in order of importance

1. Certified as a Sybase Professional DBA. Provide year of certification.

2. Completion of a minimum of one (1) certified Sybase Performance and
Tuning course. Provide course name(s) and date(s).
3. A minimum of six (6) months experience working with Sybase ASE SQL Server
version 12.5.
