As you have the files in a Unix (aka AIX) directory AND you are
familiar with IMPORT/EXPORT, why not simpy use that method ? IMPORT &
EXPORT both work ?
As a guide, the following MD entry should give you an idea of how to
setup your super-Q pointer (taken from SCO, but should still be valid)
001 qs
002
003 unix:/etc
004
005

On D3
You should know were SAMBA mounts the Windows directory, let's say
/my_samba_dir
Any Unix/WIndows directory is a Pick File, any Unix/WIndows File is a
Pick Record
You can name the file as:
ed dos:my_samba_directory my_pick_record_unix_file
You can use this names on any D3 procesoor (aql, basic, proc, tcl, etc.)
Hope this help
joseba real de asua
frel...@sarenet.es
testrt
1) Q
2)
3) unix:/pcserver/user/KIERAN/mrfs
then list testrt should give you roughly the same results as your ls
command.
