Anyone seen the Java SDK for Oracle

This is the one that shows us how Java methods,etc are being embedded in
the database? I assume in the future we'll write Java methods for entity
classes (rather than PL/SQL packages for Object tables, or PL/SQL
Packages that are loosly coupled to tables), but I'd like to gain some
further insight
.

You might take a peek at Oracle Lite. It supports Java 1.1 now, rather
than PL/SQL. No guarantee that the 8.1 API will match exactly, but the
idea is substantially there and you can mess with persistence, java
objects, triggers, etc. Plus, it works with the new AppBuilder product.

Fun stuff.
