I need to convert FMT-files to FMB-files in a batch-file on Windows
NT. Using ifcmp60 Module=xxx.fmt userid=scott/tiger@db1
module_type=FORM batch=YES I don't get any result. The compiler is
started, the UI form shows up for a second and then disappears again.
Nothing has happened. This used to work in the older versions of Forms
compiler (f45gen32).
Any help greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Marcel.
You need to add "parse=yes" to your command line.

Thanks for the reply, but still no luck! Adding parse=YES gives the
same result => no fmb-file is generated. Could be I'm using a wrong
(old) version of the compiler (6.0.5), but in the Oracle bugdatabase I
don't see any bugs reported on this issue.
Any further hints greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Marcel.
Is there a <form>.err file created? This may give you a clue.
I tested your command plus parse=yes on my machine and it worked.

Tried again. No .err-file is created. I checked the entire hard-drive
for this file and possibly the generated .fmb-file, but neither are
found. Thanks for trying. Looks like we have different
compilers/versions. Contacting Oracle now for support.
Will let you know the result.
Thanks!
Marcel.
