Role: Python Developer

Location: Snoqualmie, WA(2 months Remote)

Experience: min 7+ years experience as Python Developer

Duration: Contract/Fulltime

Skills: Automation & Machine Learning

Requirements:

• You will be responsible for developing and managing automation solutions integrating with APIs and Splunk environment backend systems.

• You will be developing custom apps for integrating Ansible APIs for interacting with RHEL servers

• You will be enhancing the team portal website with feature updates

• You will be supporting the DevOps team to identify opportunities to automate operational tasks.

• The role will require extensive experience and knowledge of Ansible, Gitlab, and CI/CD tools.

• Participate in technical design discussions, influencing the team in strategic decisions

• Responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management/leadership.

* Strong experience in Python and shell scripting

*Strong experience with automating workflows

*Experience working in virtualization environments

• Splunk knowledge is a Plus

• Experience with PHP development

• Experience with hands-on deployments of applications on Kubernetes platforms and clusters

• Experience with containers and orchestration services like Docker, Kubernetes etc.

• Experience in deploying ML models

• Shell and YAML scripting experience 

• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably from a science or engineering background

1)Passport no. and LinkedIn id is mandatory

2) Virtusa Interview to be scheduled for 1 hour
3) Candidate must be ready with computer and all development environment setup to code, build and deploy
4) Candidate must be on Video call and also should be able to screen share.

Location: Canada, Austin TX, Bay area CA (Onsite from day one)

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

Test Automation Developers

• Develop tests that are scalable, platform agnostic, parametrized for efficient platform qualification and minimal changes to support new platforms

• Identify areas for test coverage improvement, implement solutions to improve the signals from validation

• Design tests that collect and report data for data analysis and continued improvement

• Design features for troubleshooting unique failures from tests run on several tens of configuration permutation

• Run tests and improve test reliability by working with Core Framework team

• Experience working through full life cycle of server/storage platforms

• Proven experience with object oriented python programming to develop tests for Servers/Storage platforms or components in a Linux environment

• Experience with open source tools and ability to pick the right tool for platform Validation

• Remote test execution and debugging

• Experience in Shell/Perl scripting

• Test planning and test case documentation to cover issues typically found in large DC environments is a big plus

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering

• 5+ years work experience in one of the areas below

• Troubleshooting and analytical experience

• Good Communication (Verbal and Written) skills

• Proactively create experiments and tooling to detect and diagnose hardware/firmware/software health issues

Skills: Monitoring tools are Must -Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus

Requirements:

*Should have strong Python coding skills

*Should have experience in Automation scripting. Ex: Python. Shell Script

*A prior experience in production support.

*Should be able to understand and analyze the production issues and resolve it

*Provides technical advice and assists in solving programming problems

*Understanding of the SDLC lifecycle for Agile methodology
