Hi,
I'm very new to oracle however I have of a Windows Interface program to an
Oracle server - possibly called SQLPlus 8.0? Is this commercial software or
is it downloadable and if so from where?

it is Oracle's technology network - which is free. Just sign up - you will

T.O.A.D is a heavy duty developing tool and a trial version
can be found at http://www.quest.com .
A smaller scale and very easy to use developing tool is
PLSQL Developer -
trial version at
http://www.allroundautomations.nl/plsqldev.html .
