I live in an Oracle world....have an Oracle data warehouse (mostly data from
other Oracle DB's via links, and flat files/ODBC for some other systems) and
now need to get some (minimal) data from another application that uses a
Centura Database (never used this one).

Going to warehouse one single query from the Centura system (to a single
table in my Oracle DB) that I can refresh each night.

Does anybody have experience w/Centura and getting data from Centura into
Oracle? I can go the flat file route but looking for all options and some
sort of link from Oracle will be optimal...just need one single low resource
query so want something quick/cheap that works.

I can connect from either Oracle 8I or 9Ir2.

I'm not familiar with Centura, but an option might be using Heterogeneous
Services. That allows you to connect using ODBC/OLEDB to a non-Oracle
database.
