So... I was trying to look something up in the APEX OTN forum and noticed that no results were returned. And then someone answered my question: https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=2518616&tstart=0. Apparently the forum search has been broken since mid-December in preparation of a software upgrade???

And they think that this is "normal"? How difficult can it be to restart the indexing job? Oh wait, it's probably even more complicated than this? I guess Oracle company doesn't make enough profit yet to find competent IT people to fix this problem?? Sorry for the rant, I'm just disappointed...

I believe that Oracle is very busy to deliver version 12, which was
promised for January 2013. It's April now and the spring cannot come
until version 12c is delivered to the world. I believe that Oracle is
very busy on readying 12c, with very little capacity for anything else.
I'm expecting 12c to be bug free, after all this effort.

Yes, that is stupid. The search has always been bad, but it got
worse. Whether it is even more stupid to keep using the same vendor
remains to be seen.

Now, that's another theory why we're freezing here when it should be
sunny and warm.

Any body giving odds on if this time Oracle will get the upgrade and migration to a new forum, wiat that should be, Oracle spaces, right? Right, in this context would be usable, without undo delay or random errors, on day one.

We're freezing here, too, my friend. I overheard the term "polar spring"
on the TV, I cannot remember which station it was.

"Polar spring" - that sounds a bit self contradictory. :-)

He probably either meant Poland Spring or Polish Spring:
