Hi,

How do i disable Mirroring the Online Redo Logs.

Drop one of the redo logs in the group by using the ALTER DATABASE DROP
LOGFILE MEMBER '<logfilename>';

Assuming that you are referring to the Oracle way of mirroring. Create new
redo log groups with single members, then take the old redo log groups
offline and delete. Make sure before you take them offline, that they are
not the current redo log group. If they are, you can force a log switch.

You don't. You leave it on because it saves your bacon when a hard disk
containing a log dies.

Or you can disable it by creating log groups with only one member not two.
Some versions of Oracle might complain bitterly about that, however, and it
really is a dreadfully bad idea, so I hope you'll reconsider.
