Does anyone know how to calculate the system requirements (Memory and
CPU etc) for a Oracle Database, or where I can obtain any guidance?

I will have about (on average) 158 concurrently active users, using 16
Oracle Modules!

I have to size a Server for an Oracle DataBase. Is there a sizing
guide or do/have you had this in the past? I was (a long time ago)
told to calculate about 4MB per user plus a bit etc? I think
DataBases have gone past that calculation method now!

Any help would be very appreciated.

I prefer the simplistic approach -- order the maximum amount of
memory that the hardware vendor supports ;-)

The problem with more scientific approaches is that they require
you to make assumptions about the job mix, the size of the tables
that will be accessed simultaneously and are based on the premise
that the application(s) have been designed and implemented in an
optimal manner.

If it is a question of justifying the additional memory to
management just ask the suits how much growth they expect over
the next five years. Since they all assume that they are such
wonderful managers and that their competitors are asleep at the
switch they will come up with optimistic estimates. You can then
look very serious while punching random phone numbers into your
pocket calculator (or PDA, if you have one) and then say "X GB
should hold us." where X is the maximum RAM you can install in
the box.
