Description: MAJOR DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITES:
Project Management – Participates in projects as representative of financial users. Develops timelines and monitors schedules and results. Resolves business process and procedural issues. Gathers business requirements and analyzes system functionality to develop optimal solutions. Manages both internal Keystone resources and external consultants.
Communication – Communicates with financial users in all Keystone locations to understand business processes, to identify areas for improvement, and to implement those improvements.
User Support – Provides user support for Oracle and associated financial applications. This role includes determining optimal application setup, resolving questions and issues, performing reconciliation of data in subsystems, and identifying uses of the application to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Serves as an advocate for the user community, while analyzing priorities against overall system strategy.
Documentation and Training – Ensures efficient use of systems through the delivery of quality training and documentation.
Business Strategy – Identifies and recommends Oracle and other strategic financial system solutions to address business issues and opportunities.
Application Controls – Develops and implements procedures to ensure controls over access to and accuracy of data in corporate financial systems. Ensures that testing of all system components is thorough and adequate.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required.
Five years working in Accounting or IT.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to travel 10%.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
Understanding of accounting and reporting processes.
Experience with Oracle e-Business Suite 11i or 12 (GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, Projects).
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
