Full-Time Opportunity

Description

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in
implementing and supporting business applications using client/server
architectures, primarily with UNIX/Solaris 2.x, TCP/IP, Novell
Netware, and Oracle databases. You will have a combination of: a
degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, training in
UNIX, and/or the following Industry certifications: CNA, CNE, MCSE,
and CCIE. Along with your experience and certification, you will have
an understanding of firewalls, security issues as well as wide area
network routing, and a strong capability to integrate ideas and
concepts into architectural designs of networked client/server systems
that serve existing business processes. Any experience specific to
internet access services would be an asset. Of particular significance
is your ability to listen and accurately interpret customer
requirements.

In this role, you will:

•Participate in a team environment to analyze and evaluate business
applications using client/server architectures and relational
databases;
•Develop business applications and architecture solutions related to
Internet services including applications such as customer account
databases, trouble ticket management systems and knowledge databases;
•Provide direction to implementers and integration testers, including
hands-on demonstration when required;
•Define the business drivers and their impact on the applications
architecture;
•Interface with software vendors to assess products and determine
specifications.
