Hyperion Essbase Developer - FT position in southern CT

[Solo]

We are looking to fill a full time position for a Senior Hyperion
Essbase Developer with a globally recognized company located in
southern Connecticut.

The position participates in the development, implementation, roll
out, and on-going support. The package includes attractive

Requirements include:
• 2-5 years overall experience
• 1 – 3 years applications development experience with Essbase (full
SDLC) with a strong understanding of Essbase fundamentals
• Calc scripts, load rules, BSO/ASO outlines, MXL scripts, partitions,
security, etc.
• ETL experience. Note that you will be using SQL Server 2008 and SSIS
(training will be provided if needed)
• Some experience with relational databases
• Proven ability to work in a team setting and independently with
minimal supervision
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to
articulate technical aspects into business terms
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Willingness to travel occasionally

Desirable skills:
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2008
• Experience (non IT) in financial reporting systems, and forecasting
• VBA, VB.Net, CMD, MS Analysis Services
• Solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in
data structures and software design
