Hi All,

Having a strange problem that I haven't seen mentioned before -- we
are trying to replicate a simple SS7 database to SS2000 through the
DTS wizard using OLE DB and the "copy tables and views" option. It
creates all of the new tables in the target database, but Identity
column designations and the "default value" properties for the various
fields are *not* copied.

(For example, in the source DB, fields in the source DB that are
defined as Identity columns are *not* defined as identity columns in
the destination database after the replication. Same with default
values.)

I noticed that in the "Select Source Tables and Views" step of the DTS
Import/Export wizard, clicking the Transform button for these tables
does not display Identity or Default Value info. Not sure if this is
the root of the problem though ...

Any suggestions on how to correct this? Is there some SS7 to SS2000
transformation wizard that I need to use?

TIA,

AC
