Err. 823 Torn Page Detected

Hi all,

One of my database was suspected, So I try to recover database then it
gives this error

Err. 823 Torn Page Detected

823, ... 24, spid51 i/o error Torn Page (Detected)
during read at offset 0x0000000040e0000 in file .........


How can I recover my SQL Server 2000 Database? Please help

This is an indication that there was a hardware failure resulting in a
partial I/o completion corrupting the database. You need to restore a
backup and recover it up to the present using the logs.

If you don't have a suitable backup and logs, you can place a call to
Microsoft support and ask them to try to recover as much of the data as
possible for you.

I have downloaded third part software, That tool can recover but data
come up with demo, So I believe we should have method to recover it. If
anybody knows please reply...

You can also look up DBCC checkdb but be warned, you will most likely still
lose some data.
