SQL 7.0 BETA

Hi guys,
Here is the problem

The vendor's software package is a mix of 16 bit and 32 bit applications. We
are hitting a problem on a standalone machine (win95, MS SQL 7.0 desktop)
with the 16 bit applications. 16 bit apps, can not find the database (on the
same machine as application). 32 bit apps, have no problem finding the
database. We do not have Named pipes on the win95, we are using TCP/IP.
Interesting fact is that these 16 bit apps run fine on NT/MS SQL 7.0 (vendor
claims).
