I am in search of a tool for debugging sp in SQL server. any suggestions?

I once used Visual Studio 97. This requires to have the stored procedures in
a VS97 workspace/Database project.

Carl,

Latest VC and VB EE editions contain a TSQL SP debugger. Also look
for sp_debugger and CAST Workbench.
