I converted one of my database from mdb format to accdb format in Access 2007 in the hopes that it would reduce the number of database corruption issues that have been occurring. My users are now complaining that the new version is slower, and I have verified that some screen updates are indeed slower. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution?

Thanks,

I would not have expected converting from MDB to ACCDB format would
help with frequency of corruption issues.

For more information on corruption including possible causes,
determining the offending PC, retrieving your data, links, official MS
KB articles and a list of vendors who state they can fix corruption

No. I found both A2007 and A2010 speedy and better. Perhaps you can do a SaveToText/LoadFromText on a couple of forms and see if there is a difference. I will assume you've compacted and repaired both front/back ends.

Although I did not have a problem, others have. I went to Google and searched for "access 2007 slower than 2003" and got a few hits. You might want to read what others say.

I have been using Access 2003 for at least 9 years for my company. I have created a database that is being used with at least 24 employers; I recently created a replica of the database utilizing Access 2013 and the results were disappointing, the database was working super fast with 1 user, but once other users were connected it started to become very slow. I never had this isue with Access 2003.
