I didn't notice a problem until I had to use Access 97. Once I re-opened
Access 2007, I got the usual message about the Installer (as it tries to
repair every time you switch versions).
However, the installer bombs out with: Error 2711. An internal error has
occurred: ACCESSRTNonBootFiles. After this, Access 2007 Does not open. I
tried uninstalling MS Office Access 2007 Runtime, and putting in the Office
Professional 2007 Cd and selected to Repair Office 2007, and I still get the
error 2711.
Hoping for help here, as I'm now stuck!
Thanks,
Andy
* Put in the office 2007 cd, pick items to remove, and remove access 2007
* Reinstall access 2007 from the cd-rom.
I thought I would have to re-download the Office SP-1 and apply it, but it
informed me that SP1 was already installed for access. It appears to be
working once again.
