My problem is that I use SendKeys "{Down}" when entering a combobox to
have the first item in the dropdown highlighted. This works only with
one problem, it seems on Windows NT this statement causes the NumberLock
state to toggle on and off. If anyone experience this and has a solution
please post

Thanks

FYI and AFAIK, the Sendkeys problem is prevalent throughout VB in general.

:I had also this problem, that the numlock turned off by using sendkeys. Use
:the .dropdown-property instead.
:It`s clearly a bug in Access, that the command Sendkeys({Numlock}) doesn`t
:work, which should turn on the numlock again.

Yes, this is a documented problem when you use multiple sendkey
statements.

If you use 1 statment you should not have a problem, ie

SendKeys "{DOWN} {PGDN}"

And that's not the only one! I notice that if Form_KeyDown responds to an
Alt key by doing a Sendkeys, the keys sent by the Sendkeys call hit
Form_KeyDown with the acAltKeyMask bit set in the Shift parameter - even
though you didn't include a caret (or whatever it is for Alt) in the
Sendkeys string!

Sheesh...
