I have a problem about designing a customerlized security control.
As we know, in Access 1.1, the PIM.MDB use a table to maintain the users and
their passwords. But is it possible to add security to the table ? (I mean I
don't need to add one user one step by one step, I just need to assign "group"
to them, then, they automatically have the limitation!) If "Jeff" belongs to
the group of "user", then Jeff has every rights which belongs to "user".
In PIM.MDB's example, this system only control whether the users have the
right to open the first form (the main form!)!!!
THANKS A LOT! I NEED YOUR ADVICE!!!

create a security in the sytem.mda (which is ms access security)
you can assign a user / group to what ever you want it to be.
like a viewing group, editing group, executing group. etc.
and then you create a user + password then assign them to the group.

This is the way I do before, but evertime when a new user added, I must go
through every forms, tables, queries, reports, modules, and macros. Is it
possible to do like what PIM.MDB do? Use a table to control it ?
