The Infomix Connect on our NT PC is Setnet-32. We have been
using it the way the vendor of a third party application
requires which is to have each user have an account/password
on the unix Informix server and that account/password is
stored in Setnet-32 via the "Host Information" page of the
program. That page gives three password options enter the
account/password on the page ("Password"), "No Password" and
"Ask Password at Runtime." The third party application only
works with "Password".
Enter IT security. They have a new requirement. No passwords
may be stored on PC in any form. Thus my question.

Change your third party application?? It's hardly informix's problem
that the third party application is wrong.
