Hi

Does anyone know when IDS 10.0xC7 is likely to be available for Solaris, AIX
and Linux?

I was told Autumn 2007 by UK Tech Support a month or so back ...

thx

According to the "IBM Premium Support Newsletter", 10.00.xC7 is
scheduled for release on 27 Sep 2007, and 10.00.xC8 is scheduled for 4
Apr 2008.

I'm guessing that you have to have "Premium" support to get the
newsletter. We have always-on-site IBM support people here, just on the
other side of my padded cell-- er, cubicle wall.

It constantly amuses me that they are always MUCH busier with DB2 UDB
issues than they are with Informix issues. ;-)

Ah, right. I seem to remember they used to have something like this here in
the pre-Passport Advantage days - one of my customers had it and we used to
get a quarterly digest of our calls and a discussion meeting with a member
of the UK Tech Support Team. I don't think it's offered here any more, or
if it is, it's not available as a Business Partner offering.

Seems a shame though that if there's a useful newsletter produced it
couldn't be distributed to larger customers who spend (say) at least US$100k
each year on IBM Information Management. I suppose though that if "Premium
Support" is a a chargeable option then distributing the newsletter more
widely would diminish the premium option.

Premium Support is available to PA customers in EMEA

Clients paying for premium support get the premium support newletter
sent to them (monthly?) as one of the premium support deliverables

Other deliverables include the case reviews you are familiar with pre
passport advantage

I am "surprised" the release dates in the premium support newlsetter
are not also included in th IIUG newsletter

Is there anything about it on the IBM website?
I can't find it listed as a Passport Advantage offering ...
