I'm preparing an in-line upgrade to IDS 12.10.FC13 from 11.70.FC9X9. Having acquired the IDS bundle, I've extracted it into my target $INFORMIXDIR; /opt/IBM/12.10.FC13. At this point, all I want to do is install, whilst the 11.70.FC9X9 Instance is still operational.

[root@myDbServer /]$ uname -a
Linux myDbServer 2.6.32-754.25.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Nov 20 15:07:26 EST 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

[root@myDbServer /]$ ls -l $INFORMIXDIR
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 11 Sep 10 2018 /opt/IBM/informix -> 11.70.FC9X9

[root@myDbServer /]$ onstat -
IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.70.FC9X9 -- On-Line (Prim) -- Up 21 days 10:12:34 -- 230588416 Kbytes

However, the installation bails out...

I find this on the web https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/jre-libraries-are-missing-or-not-compatible and try it...

...but this yields a different error...

I have also ensured these other suggestions...

- Check that the tmp directory $IATEMPDIR does not have the "noexec" f/s setting.
- Set ISTEMP_HOME environment variable. I suspect this is the same as IATEMPDIR, so I set it as the same.
- Ensure that the prompt is not overly complicated, so I use a absolute simple one.
- Ensure the Java version is 1.6 or higher.

... all to no avail. The Install Log created in /tmp2 called *****.details, reads...

What am I missing?
