Informix 4GL Books

Anyone have suggestions on 4GL programming books? I see a few at
Amazon.com, but would like to try and make sure it is worth the money.
Anyone who has a good refference and could point me in the right
direction would be very helpfull.

Programming Informix Sql/4GL: A step-by-step approach by Cathy Kipp and
Informix 4GL by example by Informix Press seem like 2 likelys.

The best is the Cathy Kipp Informix Sql/4gl A step-by-step approach.

I recommend the books below in addition to Cathy Kipp's book:

Optimizing Informix Applications - Robert D. Schneider ISBN 0-13-149238-1

Advanced Informix-4GL Programming - Art Taylor ISBN 0-13-301318-9

These books were published in 1995 but they are still good - the material
has not changed much...

I'm hard pressed to steal the food from those starving Amazon mouths, but
you should be able to download 4GL by Example from
http://www.informix.com/answers/ :-)

You'll still have to pay for Cathy's book. (I'm so old, I learned 4GL from
Developing Applications Using Informix-4GL by Mark G Sobell... :-)
