Question: replication and Binary Large OBjects (image)

I am after confirmation that Infomix supports the replication (read/write on remote locations) of
data including Binary Large OBjects (image) across homogeneous platforms connected via leased lines from
a local telco.
Plz let me know if it is possible and what experience you may have had with it.

Under Informix 7.1x, data replication is supported under a master
(read-write) and a slave (read only) configuration. Under 7.2? (4?)
it is called something different and supports a master-master
relationship.

We have not as of yet purchased a copy, but will probably do so
sometime this year.

So let me get this straight....

... you're sitting in the phone booth with your laptop running OnLine
and you want to replicate to an Orable database or some such? Mmmmmm.

There are various gateways available, speak to Informix. Blobs are only
replicated if they are stored in the dbspace, NOT a blobspace. But this
may have changed in 7.22. Again, speak to your Informix rep.
