I'm still trying to confirm their Web address for the FAQ.

Currently I've listed them on the Primary FAQ Site as
www.pylonsoft.com although www.pylon.com did exist and said it
was under contruction.

Any one else have more info?

Hi;

Querix has written a JAVA front end to the QueriX compatible 4GL,
this would allow java enabled browsers to act a a GUI front end to
the 4GL application. Alternatively a java VE can be used. You would
be able to get the product soon (MARCH) -(APRIL) for testing. Talk to
us at Washington Area Informix User Group Technical Forum on the 20th
of Feb 1998.

Didn't see this until today. Pylon Software has ceased operation since 1997 when one of its founder and its main coder left Pylon (actually he was fired) due to certain non-technical disputes with another founder who was CEO of Pylon's parent company -- Maxpeed Corp.

The work of Pylon 4GL/SQL was CS/MS thesis of the fired founder, which consists of ~200K LOC C code.

Not sure if it is coincidence, i was fired at the same time :)
